SALES AGREEMENT
Agreement made this day
___________________________, in Green Valley, IL. Between Gary and Jo
Weyhrich Breeder/Seller
and____________________________________________, the buyers granted
Title to a _Male___ Female___________ Saint Bernard
puppy, whelping date _________________, by
_________________ sire and _______________________ dam. Breeder / Seller will
transfer new owner-
ship of said dog to the Buyer, with limited
registration ( no breeding rights) full reg. is available for an additional fee… and will deliver to the Buyer the completed AKC Registration certificate of this
dog, a medical history from our veterinarian
at Greenhaven Animal Clinic in
IT IS AGREED BETWEEN PARTIES THAT:
1. The Breeder warrants that the dog is in excellent
health, but has not made and does not make any further warranties as to the
dog’s condition or potential.
2. The Buyer should take the dog to a veterinarian of
their choice, and we the Breeder encourages him to do so, with in a 3 week
period from the date of purchase of puppy. If the veterinarian finds the puppy
to be not healthy, or sound or to possess a serious congenital defect, and a
veterinarian’s certificate is supplied to the Breeder stating that, the Buyer
can return the puppy to the Breeder for a full and immediate refund of the
purchase price.
3. If at any time up until the dog reaches it’s first
birthday, he or she is found to possess a serious congenital
defect or i.e. or any condition other than the presence of two descended
testicles, and a veterinarian’s certificate is supplied to the Breeder so
stating ,and is approved by our veterinarians the Buyer will entitled to a replacement dog
or return of the price of the dog only. This is the full extent of our
warranty.
4. The Buyer agrees to treat this dog as a household pet
and to give it love and attention at all times. The Buyer agrees that this dog
will never, at any time, be chained outside or trained as a professional guard/attack
dog. The Saint Bernard does not have the temperament for Guard/attack training,
and to do so could be disastrous for the animal.
5. Buyer agrees that he will not transfer ownership of
the dog to any person or organization whose intent is to use it in laboratory
experiments, or to use in dog fighting.
6. If the conditions of this contract are not adhered to,
the Breeder/ Seller has the option to repossess this dog at any time. It is
understood that these conditions are set forth for the welfare and protection
of the dog and the St. Bernard breed involved, as well as for the Buyer and
Breeder/Seller.
