Our puppy prices range from $450 to $600. Yes, you can find a puppy out there for less, maybe even quite a bit less, but "Buyer Beware". Remember that your might get lucky, or you might "Get What You Pay For". Would you choose a lesser quality hospital to have your baby just because it cost less? This puppy will be a part of your family for many years to come and you want him/her to have the best start in life as possible.

So Why Buy From Us?
We raise only Shih Tzu's. We don't have other breed standards or health issues to keep up with and so we can focus totally on raising happy healthy little Shih Tzu's. Our babies are raised indoors and socialized with other dogs, cats & kids. They are introduced to the potty pad at 4-5 weeks and moved to our air conditioned, heated indoor/outdoor kennel between 6 & 7 weeks where they learn to use a doggy door. They never leave our home except to go to the vet's office. We sell only through website advertising and word of mouth so our babies are not exposed to airborn illness' or the deadly parvo virus. Since many genetic issues don't present themselves until after 12 months, our 2 year genetic guarantee offers you protection you would not otherwise have. We have many return familys and are happy to provide references. Most importantly, we love our dogs, every one of them. This is not just a business for us. We believe the Shih Tzu is the best small dog that a person could have and we pride ourselves on providing you with quality puppies to share your life with.

So now for the Big Decision
Will it be
Male or Female?

Check out this information taken directly from the "American Shih Tzu Club" webpage!

"The pet buyer's desire for a female probably stems from previous experiences with other breeds. Shih Tzu's have always been bred to be companions to humans. Unlike many larger breeds, Shih Tzu's do not have sex-linked temperament differences. Males are every bit as affectionate as females (some say more), and an aggressive Shih Tzu of either sex is unusual and undesirable. In fact, one is more likely to witness occasional squabbles over food, toys and ranking in the pecking order between females than between males, particularly among females in season. Males are easier to keep in coat because they don't go through periodic, hormone-related coat loss, making the male the ideal choice for someone planning to keep a pet in coat or have only one show dog. Also, males are usually easier to housebreak. A male would much prefer to "hold it" until he goes outside to mark his territory in the greater world."
