My name is Leslie Bell and I own a small basset hound kennel just south of Atlanta, Georgia. I live on 70 acres which give my dogs plenty of room to roam, run and play. I have been breeding dogs for 19 years total. Over the years I have fallen in love with the basset hound breed. I currently have eight bassets. Two males- Udo and Krone. And six females- Zipper, Dime, Yen, Peso, Loren and Lara. I am particularly proud of my three imported bassets, Udo from the Czech Republic and Loren and Lara from Brazil. They have excellent bloodlines loaded with international champions. They are my show hopefuls. I have puppies throughout the year. I strive to produce bassets with classic basset features including large feet, heavy bones and long ears. Puppies are ready to go to approved homes at eight weeks old. They will be spoiled by me and my children before they leave us. A basset is not for everyone and the breed should be researched prior to deciding to add one to your family. Bassets are loving, loyal, and lazy (just to name a few). They are perfect for children as they are not as hyper as other breeds. I love my bassets very much and enjoy seeing my puppies go to great homes.
