The difference is that "SHOW/BREED" quality pups are sold with a full AKC registrations so you can potentially show or breed the puppy in the future, if desired, while "PET" quality pups are sold with limited AKC registrations as family pets & companions, with the requirement that they be spayed/neutered before turning 6 mos. old. You can still show a limited AKC Registration puppy in certain non-conformation AKC events and obtain AKC titles (such as Canine Good Citizens or "CGC" Title and/or Therapy Dog International or "TDI" Title), but you cannot breed your pup with a limited AKC Registration. If you buy a "PET" quality puppy from us at the lower "PET" pricing and decide later on that you'd like to show and/or breed your puppy, then you'd have to pay us the minimum $500 price difference (from shown "PET" price to "SHOW/BREED" price) and all AKC conversion/admin. fees for changing over your "PET" AKC ltd. reg. to a "SHOW/BREED" AKC full reg. before showing in any AKC conformation shows or prior to breeding your pup.
