I have been raising dogs for over 27 years with the help of my husband and kids. All of my dogs have grown up with my 4 boys (27, 24, 21,17), and 1 girl (8). I now baby-sit my two grandsons (3 year olds), 1 grandaughter (1 year old) and a new grandson just born this April. I do this four to five days a week. This is such a benefit for both the kids and puppies.
I also teach “Puppy Pre-School” and “Behavior Training”; that is why socialization, temperament, environment, and health are very important to me. I also baby-sit several dogs, some of those are of other breeds.
We live on a 14 acre farm in the country. Our dogs are not kept in kennels. They have large fenced in yards they go outside to play in. They have their own rooms we built for them in our house for them to have puppies in, with music playing. The mothers stay there with the puppies until the puppies go to their new homes. I don’t take the puppies away from the mother for weaning. I let the mother wean her pups.
My dogs are sold as pets with a limited AKC registration as companion dogs and a spay/neuter contract; therefore I will consider serious requests only.
I have passed the AKC inspection again in 2011, as I have every time I have been inspected.
I WILL NOT SHIP my puppies. They have to be picked up in person. You need to see where your puppy came from. You need to see the parents.
