Keeper is staying at Pikes Peak Poodles to become our first Apricot Sable Phantom breeder. She also carries both parti and brindle. She will really be able to produce a wide variety of colors. This is how she looked at three months. Before she becomes a mom, she will have lots of love and training so that she can be shown in conformation and possibly in tracking. She has a great nose. But for now, she is busy playing and napping every day. What a beauty she is. The second picture is of Keeper at 6 months. She has the most beautiful eyes, eyeliner and eyelashes. I should have named her Maybeline.

Meet Pippa- Short for Pippi Longstocking. Her name was obvious when we first met. She came to Colorado from Kit-Sue Kennels in Oklahoma by way of an airplane ride in the cabin with me. She is a beautiful Tri-color whichmeans that she is both a rd and black Phantom as well as a Parti. Her colors are changing daily and we are not quite sure which colors will prevail when she is an adult. Her genetics are clear and she will produce many beautiful and unusual colored pups like herself. She is pictured at 3 months, and she is very sweet. She bonded immediately upon arrival and has a very high desire to please. She will be trained for showing in conformation and probably obedience or rally. But for now, she fills her days with playing with her buddy, Keeper, and trying to get treats from me. What a doll baby. The second picture is at 5 months.

Pikes Peak Juliet

This is Juliet. She is a daughter of Sake and Romeo. Her color is Silver/Cream Phantom and she is a beauty. She had her first litter in Fall of 2010. She is double registered AKC and UKC. Her hips received a rating of Good Prelim from OFA and her DNA testing showed her to be negative for all genetic diseases that currently have markers. She is CERF Normal.She has a lovely disposition and is very affectionate. She is a wonderful mother. Juliet has begun her career as a Therapy Dog at our local hospital. She enjoys visiting the patients and brings a little cheer into their lives. She is very patient and calm. Due to problems during pregnancy, it has been necessary to retire Juliet as a breeder. She did produce 8 wonderful puppies, and I hope to continue her line through one of her pups.

Here is Juliet in her new career as a Therapy Dog working at the local hospital. She visits patients, staff and visitors there every couple of weeks. She just loves the work.

PIKES PEAK KISMET

Meet Kizzy. she is one of our new moms. She is a Blue/Apricot Brindle. She is a small standard, and will produce Moyens as well as Small Standards. Her first litter was in the Spring of 2011. Her hips are OFA Fair(Prelim) and she is CERF normal. Her DNA testing shows her to be negative for Von Willebrands Disease and for PRCD. Kizzy had her secoond litter on Thanksgiving Day 2011.

PIKES PEAK REESE'S PEANUTBUTTER CUP

Our newest addition to the Mom Group is Reesey. She was born a Brown and Cream Phantom. She has lightened to Champagne. She is AKC registered. Her hips are OFA Good(Prelim). She carries the parti gene. She came to us from Oak Hill Standard Poodles in Wisconsin. She is very playful and loving. Congratulations to Reesey-- She recently became certified as a Therapy Dog. She is in a reading program with children.
Her hips were rated OFA Good on her prelim test. She is Cerf normal.
Her first litter was in Fall of 2011. She had 9 lovely pups in Oct 2011. She will have only one more litter during 2012.

Sake's Taste of Sebastian

Sake is now retired. She had five wonderful litters and it is now time for other girls to take over the duties of breeding female. Her first litter will be in the spring of 2010.Sake will remain with me as one of my favorite dogs. She is double registered in AKC and UKC. She is seven years old. She is naturally calm and well behaved. She spends most of her time lying at my feet so that she will be with me whenever anything happens. She is all about love, but she asks very little for herself. She is intelligent and very gentle natured. She is a very dedicated mom who raised eight pups in each of her earlier litters. She does a wonderful job of raising her pups. Together, she and I socialized all of the pups so that they will be ready to join your family. She is CERF and rated Good(OFA) for her hips. She is von Willebrands negative. All of her pups have been healthy and beautiful. She passed on her wonderful temperament to all of her pups.She stands about 20 inches and normally weighs 42 pounds, when she is not pregnant. This makes her a small to medium sized Standard Poodle. Her babies should mature to about her size or slightly larger. She was my foundation dog.
